Featured Team Member: Miguel Diaz-Gomez

Watching Miguel excel and grow since joining our group in mid-2019 has been a truly joyful experience. Miguel brings his lifelong interest in aviation and exemplary work ethic to our team every day. His considerable experience in maintenance, alteration, and rebuilding of a variety of aircraft types over the last decade brings a well-rounded touch to our engineering design work. Miguel’s attention to detail is a hallmark of his craftsmanship and shows clearly in his finished efforts.

Miguel plays a key role in the growth of Momentum’s aircraft modification, custom fabrication and prototyping endeavors including CNC mill, plasma cutter, and router operations. He has been instrumental in supporting engineering activities including structural and flight testing on a wide range of programs. Since coming on board, Miguel has demonstrated an incredible ability to learn new skills quickly as we grow and expand. His commitment to precision is going to be instrumental in fostering our “Swiss-style” ethos of aircraft maintenance and modification.

Miguel is currently preparing for his A&P exams and has begun his flight training. His interests include flying, fishing, & automobile performance modifications.  He is married to his wife Pang and they have a “Soccer-Star” daughter Sophia.
