The FAA has recently granted an STC for Heatwave Floats, the next-generation amphibious scooping floats, which are designed for the Air Tractor AT-802A.

This milestone marks the successful completion of years of rigorous engineering, flight testing, and certification work, bringing to market a cutting-edge solution for aerial firefighting missions.

Momentum is now accepting orders for 2026 deliveries, and interest is high.
